Areas of Application
- Repairing of internal and external cracks in Plastered surfaces up to 5 mm X 5 mm size
Method of Application
- Clean the crack to remove all loose material. If crack is too fine, it must be broken to ascertain its actual width and depth. Ensure the surface is free from oil, dust and grease.
- Mix Dr. Fixit Crack-X Powder in clean water in proportion 2.5 part of Dr. Fixit Crack-X Powder to 1 part of water by volume.
- Moisten the surface slightly before applying Dr. Fixit Crack-X Powder.
- Press Dr. Fixit Crack-X Powder paste into the cracks using a spatula or putty knife. Level the surface with a putty knife to get a smooth & clean surface. Painting operation can start after 24 hours when Dr. Fixit Crack-X Powder is completely cured.
Precautions & Limitations
- Dr. Fixit Crack-X Powder, is strictly not recommended to fill cracks more than 5 mm.
- Strictly not for filling structural cracks/ expansion joints/ construction joints/separation gaps.
- Painting should commence after 24 hours.
- Strictly not recommended for the cracks of sizes more than 5mmX5mm.
