All structural cracks of size ranging from 0.25 mm to 8 mm in concrete and beam-column joints should be injected with Low viscous, non solvented clear epoxy resin by drilling holes and fixing injection ports as under.

Application Methodology

Mixing

Two components of Epoxy Injection Grout shall be mixed in a suitable container with heavy duty slow speed drilling machine with paddle attachment. Empty the entire content of base first and then add hardener. Start the mixer and mix it for 2 to 3 minutes till uniform colour is obtained. Under no circumstances part mixing shall be done.

Cut open the cracks and clean it to remove loose materials, dust etc., and shall be washed with water.

Drill holes to fix 8 mm dia injection packers at a spacing of 200 - 300 mm
c/c. Fix the nozzle and fill the crack length between the packers with Epoxy Putty

Grout the injection packers with low viscous, solvent free epoxy resin. A suitable manual / electrical operated injection pump with pressure not exceeding 2-3 kg per sq.cm shall be used. Continue applying pressure until resin appears at the next packer location or till refusal of the material. Remove pressure from the injection gun, close valve and crimp injection packer. Move on to the next packer.

After the grouting operation is over, extra length of nozzle shall be cut or fully removed from the surface.
