Area Of Application:
- For heavy duty vertical cladding like natural stones & large format tiles
on internal/external applications and tile on tile applications as well as
the swimming pool tiling applications.
Method of Application
- The surface to be tiled should be clean and sound. Old surfaces
must be free from wax, grease, polish, etc.
- The surface to be tiled should be sound and thoroughly cleaned.

- Pour one 25 kg. Bag in approx. 8 lt. of clean water (recommended
proportion approx. 3:1 of powder to water by volume). At site,
addition of water shall be adjusted to attain desired consistency.
Do not put water into the powder. Mix with a trowel / slow speed
drills (50 - 100 rpm) until a lump free homogeneous paste is obtained.
- Always mix the required quantity, which can be consumed with in
the prescribed pot life adopting the mixing proportion mentioned
above.
- Spread the adhesive to a thickness of approx. 3-6 mm and comb
with a notched trowel. Strictly apply the adhesive paste which can
be tiled with in 10 to 15 mins.
- Intermittently touch the adhesive paste on substrate by finger. If
the adhesive sticks to fingers then continue tiling and if not scrape
off the adhesive and apply new coat.
- Start placing the tiles on the surface to be tiled. Tap the tiles properly
to ensure complete coverage of the backside of tiles and to eliminate
the possibility of any air voids.
- Keep joints between two-tiles using spacers that are available
with Dr. Fixit Fevimate TL bag.
- Allow tiling to set for 24 hours and start filling joints next day with
Dr. Fixit Fevimate TG.
- Use mechanical clamps for holding the heavy stones in
positions on vertical surface
- Dr. Fixit Fevimate TL also can be applied at 3-mm thickness
for fixing of normal tiles in toilets and swimming pool area.
- Mix Dr. Fixit Fevimate TG powder with water in ratio 2.5: 1
(1 water to 2.5 Dr. Fixit Fevimate TG) and press it firmly in
joints.
- After grouting clean and polish tiles with a damp sponge or
cloth.
Precautions & Limitations
- Heavy tiles must be supported by mechanical clamps while
fixing on the vertical surface
- Always add powder to water and not water to powder
- Do not add more water than recommended
- Do not add sand or cement at site
- Before doing tile-on-tile application, ensure that the original
tiling surface in sound condition.
- Strictly not recommended for the direct use on gypsum plaster,
paint, wood & metal. For such applications apply Dr. Fixit
Pidicrete MPB over a dry & clean surface. Thereafter within
60 mins start applying DR. Fixit Fevimate TL paste.
Particularly for application over wood/metal the surface must
be sufficiently rigid & stable to receive tile and capable of
carrying the load of tiles without excessive deflection. Consult
