Area Of Application:

• All indoor & outdoor tiling joints.

Method of Application :

• The tiling joint should be made clean, dry and free from all contamination.
• Mix the powder in 1 : 2.5 ratio (1 water : 2.5 Dr. Fixit Fevimate TG) to get homogeneous mix and desired consistency. Do not add water into the powder
• Addition of water shall be adjusted as per the climatic conditions
• Fill the prepared paste into the tiling gaps and remove excess material by tooling.
• Leave the surface for 24 hours

Application Procedure

• Apply one coat of Dr. FIXIT PRIMESEAL (diluted with water in the ratio 2:1) at the rate of 12-15 sqm per litre. Allow it to dry for 2-3 hours
• Apply the first coat of DR. FIXIT NEWCOAT at the rate of 2 sq.m. per litre and allow it to dry before taking up the second and third coats, the rate of application being the same.
• The sequence of colours viz. pink, green and grey can be decided depending on the desired top coat colour.
• In case only two colours are being used, ensure that the colour of the first and the third coat are the same. This would ensure correct consumption of material that will deliver a total DFT of 1 mm.
• Drying time between coats will be 6 - 8 hours
• Ensure that the primer and the 3 coats of DR. FIXIT NEWCOAT totally achieve a minimum thickness of 1 mm DFT
• Allow the system to air cure for 7 days.

Precautions & Limitations

• Ensure minimum gap of 2 mm in tiles for best results
• Moisten the tile joints is highly recommended; when application is to be carried out in hot climatic conditions (above 40oC)
• Strictly not recommended for the tile joints more than 3 mm
